Ari Salmela

Ari has participated in many group photography exhibitions in Finland and other countries since 1988. Most important to him was the group exhibition at The Finnish Museum of Photography in 1989. This experience excited Ari to improve his photographic skills and sell his works for interior designers and art lovers. In 1994, when he started working for a Finnish globally operating industrial company, photography was left in the background in his life for many years. Finally, a three-week business trip to Japan reignited his spark for photography. Ari became interested in studying digital photo editing in 2006 and he really likes these new possibilities to create photographic art for commercial, public and private spaces.
