PurePhoto is excited to participate in the 2017 Spring High Point Market with Windsor Smith Home and Century Furniture. Named by Veranda magazine as one of the top 25 design influencers in their 25-year history and celebrated for her recently released book Homefront: Design for Modern Living, Windsor Smith has cemented her position as one of the most successful interior designers of our time.
The Windsor Smith for Century Collection will debut in the Century Furniture Showroom at High Point Market April 22nd through the 26th. The concept behind Windsor’s collection and installation is “Alchemy” and PurePhoto worked with her directly to print fine art photographs that work to complement this theme.
One of Windsor’s favorite pieces that will be displayed alongside her collection for Century Furniture is “Light Play” by Gillian Lindsay. As stated by Gillian “I explore mechanical ways of altering light sources as well as camera motion to create images that appear more like charcoal sketches than photographs. I am drawn to surrealism and it is in this exciting experimentation with light that a figure or reference to a slightly definable object may emerge.”
Alongside “Light Play” will be additional pieced by PurePhoto artists Alicia Bock and Mitja Schneehage. Both “Starry Eyed” and “Parkhaus V” will be on view throughout the show for all to enjoy.
