A Never Ending Line
I took this picture on a foggy summer day up in the hills. As soon as I stepped out of the car, I noticed that old fence at the other side of the road and could not resist it. It seemed to stretch forever and was made up of different posts. I thought about all the things it kept in and out. I thought about the people who built it over many generations. Repairing it, adding to it, making it what I saw before me.
One of our favorite artists here at PurePhoto is the talented and sublime Esther Miguez who lives in a small coastal village in Spain. She has a careful and practiced eye and a gift in finding the little vignettes that most people miss. Watching for light, color and texture she happens upon these little moments that might escape someone not looking for them. She found these few flowers growing in a remote part of a shipyard.
