Cove at Horseneck. Warwick, RI
This photograph is of Horseneck, a part of Narragansett Bay where it goes along the Buttonwoods area of Warwick RI. It was made from a 8x10" paper negative created with a 8x10 camera and vintage 19th Century optics.
i have been a freelance photographer since about 1988, shooting everything from weddings to portraits to site architecture / documentation. while i have and use digital cameras, i would rather my initial image be created using traditional materials. i use film and paper and glass and metal as negatives. i coat things myself with emulsion. in addition to silver based images, i also make iron based ones, called cyanotypes.
