The Cove in the Evening
Looking across the bay.
Taken with a Graflex 3A postcard camera.
Ilford paper was used as the negative, and it was developed in a coffee based developer.
i have been a freelance photographer since about 1988, shooting everything from weddings to portraits to site architecture / documentation. while i have and use digital cameras, i would rather my initial image be created using traditional materials. i use film and paper and glass and metal as negatives. i coat things myself with emulsion. in addition to silver based images, i also make iron based ones, called cyanotypes.
