Powerline and Trees

Lougres river, eastern France. Nearly every day this sight greeted us as we drove by.
This is a scan of a silver print made from an in camera negative,
Leica, tri x, coffee, Ilford paper.

i have been a freelance photographer since about 1988, shooting everything from weddings to portraits to site architecture / documentation. while i have and use digital cameras, i would rather my initial image be created using traditional materials. i use film and paper and glass and metal as negatives. i coat things myself with emulsion. in addition to silver based images, i also make iron based ones, called cyanotypes.
