Pokegama Dam |Minnesota

Trees

Early Autumn in north-central Minnesota. Leaves are beginning to turn as water released from the dam regulates the level of Lake Pokegama.

Born, raised, and educated on the vast Prairie of the Midwest, I became enamored with photography while studying fine art at a small university. Soon, the Prairie that I explored visually would expand to include all corners of the US and Europe.
I honed my skills using traditional film and darkroom techniques, while creating my own chemistry "blends". Visually I sought out elements of texture, patterns, geometry (or lack thereof) within landscapes and manmade structures.
