Alex Hoerner

Alex Hoerner uses allegory and juxtaposition to address the strange and the quirky in his photography of Los Angeles life. His recent return from nearly a decade in New York brings new perspective on California and also to his body of work for clients like the New York Times Magazine and AT&T. For over 15 years, he has explored the unconventional in the everyday through portraiture, reportage and the occasional aerial photograph. He lives in Santa Monica, California with his wife and son.
