Two Icelandic horses wait for the winter to pass. Created using a slow shutter speed and the slightest movement of the camera as the image was taken.
Carys Jones is a UK-based award winning equine fine art photographer, who travels extensively in search of inspiration for her fine art images.
Carys is renowned for her particularly creative approach to equine photography. She often uses slow shutter speeds, multiple exposures, intentional camera movement and other in-camera techniques to create her striking abstract works.
Intrigued by the creative abilities of the camera, Carys uses it to see what others do not.
Seeking out horses in their native environments, she is drawn to their natural habitats, where she is free to observe these wonderful creatures as they exhibit their natural equine behaviour.
Carys also has an 'alter ego' - an alternative photographic personality drawn to experimental landscape work, separate from her equine works.
