Like a city kept outside of time Bruges has kept on her medieval clothes to seduce visitors looking for original romanticism. The city has a rich history and has known several wealthy periods because of trade and weaving but came into decline after it’s direct connection with the sea slowly silted. These days the city is a very popular tourist destination because of it’s rich history and because it has managed to preserve it’s valuable architectural feats.
