Lev Gorn is a filmmaker, writer, actor and fine art photographer living in New York City. He originally started experimenting with multiple exposures as a way to deconstruct images and strip away the viewer’s universally accepted points of reference.
By manipulating color, form and context, Lev discovered he could alter the viewer's perception of reality and pose the question - "If time and space are no longer uniform and absolute, what is real - form or sentiment?". Each of his artworks is constructed from photographs which he takes in different parts of the world and then assembles into a single piece, with hundreds of overlapping layers.
In addition to his success as a fine art photographer, Lev is well known for his acting work on Emmy award-winning television shows such as “The Americans, “The Wire”, “Billions”, "Maniac" and more. He has also worked extensively in the film industry as an actor and has written and directed two short films. Production on Lev’s feature film “Get Psycho”, which he co-wrote, begins in the Spring of 2020.Input caption text here.
