2020 Vision

Mexican-born fine art photographer Javiera Estrada and British floral artist Lucie Doughty unite in collaboration to produce a series of explosive floral fine art photographs. The series 2020 Vision was birthed during the Pandemic. As the world changed around us, so did our perspective. 2020 Vision is a visual commentary on the contrasting viewpoints and how our attitudes can create peace or chaos. Maya Angelou’s quote sums it up perfectly, “If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude.”

Thus, the polarity of perspectives is reflected in the unique diptychs created from the same floral arrangement. They are either slightly or dramatically altered to produce the illusion of an independent and distinct image.
