PurePhoto had the great pleasure of working with designers Paige Bowen and Kelly DiNisco of Abode Well to provide art for their room in the LA Sparks Summer Design House. The Los Angeles Sparks partnered with the Salvation Army's The Way In services to select six designers to decorate apartments in Hollywood for 16 former foster youth who, after aging out the system, found themselves homeless at 18. The apartments will be home to the youths who are currently employed, working towards their educational goals and on a path to self-sufficiency.
PurePhoto worked with artist Mike Kelley to donate three of his fine art photographs from his LA Airspace series to be permanently installed in one of the apartments. All of the furniture and accessories were donated and an open house for the players and designers was hosted on Friday, July 27th.
