A few geese grazing sandflies at Mono Lake, an alkaline sea in the California desert. Salt tufa from the receding lake are dotted here with snow, when I was lucky enough to witness a rare squall which dumped 3 inches in 30 minutes, and which melted away completely 30 minutes later.

I am a Los Angeles based travel and landscape photographer, with an education in painting and art history. My formal training has greatly influenced my art, as I focus mainly on long exposures and painting with light. I simply traded in my paintbrush for a flashlight. The night is often mysterious and magical, a peculiar feeling I try to embody in my work, using light to capture the surreality of dreams in waking life.
